Lari Smith, LPC, was born and raised in Atoka County, where she still resides. She attended Southeastern Oklahoma State University after high school and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in 1997, majoring in psychology with a minor in sociology. She continued her education at East Central University and obtained a Master of Science in Human Resources Administration in 2006 and a Master of Science in Psychological Services in 2015. She completed her 3000 supervision hours to become a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and passed her board exams in 2019. Lari works with all ages, but in particular, enjoys children, as she has been in the school setting for 15 years and is a State certified School Counselor. She is also pursuing her Alcohol and Drug Counselor licensure in order to work with those affected by addiction. Lari has been married to her husband, Rob, for 23 years and has 3 wonderful children; Bailey-21; Grace-20 and Jake-13. Lari enjoys quilting, reading, spending time with her family and horse related activities.
