Linda Richardson was born and raised in eastern Colorado – wheat country. She moved to Oklahoma to complete her children’s education at Corn Bible Academy. After her children graduated, she and her husband sold their farm and Linda became an LPN in Labor and Delivery in 2003. She continued working in L&D while earning her BSN online through OU in 2009. She transitioned to working as a Labor and Delivery RN where she decided she really enjoyed teaching patients and student so she obtained her Master’s degree in nursing education with OU in 2014. While she enjoyed teaching, working with expectant families continued to be her main interest and she continued working L&D. Discussing career moves with a co-worker encouraged her to continue her education with a Family Nurse Practitioner Post-Master’s certificate through Maryville University, graduating in May of 2021. She became certified by American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) in June of 2021. After many years of working in Labor and Delivery with Dr. Siegle, a position opened collaborating with him to provide obstetric care to southern Oklahoma in Tishomingo. Linda enjoys time with her husband on their “farm” and spending time with her two granddaughters.
